আপনার বয়স কি ত্রিশ পার হয়ে গিয়েছে? আপনি কি এখনও পড়াশোনা করছেন? ইতিমধ্যেই একটা চাকুরী পেয়ে গিয়েছেন? অবস্থান যেটাই হোক না কেন, একজন মানুষের জীবনে শেখার আসলেই কোন শেষ নেই। আপনি যদি চান নিজেকে একটু সামনে এগিয়ে নিয়ে, বাকি সবার চাইতে এগিয়ে থাকতে, তাহলে পেশাগত জীবনের উন্নয়নের জন্য নিয়মিত কিছু কাজ করে যেতে পারেন আপনি। চলুন, আজ জেনে নেওয়া যাক আপনার ক্যারিয়ারের উন্নয়নে আপনি কি কি কাজ করতে পারেন তার একটি ছোট্ট বিবরণ।

নতুনকে স্বাগত জানান ও লক্ষ্য নির্ধারণ করুন

প্রতিষ্ঠানের সবগুলো সুযোগ গ্রহণ করুন
অনেক প্রতিষ্ঠানই তার কর্মীদের দক্ষতার উন্নয়নের জন্য নানারকম প্রশিক্ষণের সুযোগ দিয়ে থাকে। এছাড়াও, নানারকম প্রোগ্রামের আয়োজন করে থাকে তার। এমন কোন সুযোগ থাকলে সেটি হেলায় হারাবেন না। হতেই পারে যে সেটি এখন আপনার কোন কাজে লাগছে না। তবে একটা সময় হয়তো পুরটা মিলিয়ে আপনি দেখতে পাবেন, এই প্রশিক্ষণগুলো নেওয়ার আগে আপনি যতটা দক্ষ ও ভালো কর্মী ছিলেন, তার চাইতে এখন অনেক ভালো অবস্থানে আছেন।

সিভি ঘষামাজা করুন
শুধু আপনি নিজে দক্ষ হলেই হবে না, আপনার সিভি বা কারিকুলাম ভীতাকেও হতে হবে উন্নত। তাই প্রথম থেকে যে সিভি দিয়ে আপনি কাজ চালিয়ে এসেছিলেন সেটি এবার একটু বদলে নিন। তার বদলে একটু নতুন করে, আরেকটু ভালোভাবে সিভিতে নিজেকে ফুটিয়ে তোলার চেষ্টা করুন। একটি ভালো সিভি লেখাকেও দক্ষতার মধ্যেই ফেলা হয়। কারণ, প্রাথমিকভাবে আপনি নন, আপনার সিভিটিই সবার সামনে যাবে। আর হ্যাঁ, অনেকেই এই ব্যাপারটিকে অনেক সহজ কিছু ভাবলেও বাস্তবে একটি অসাধারণ সিভি লেখা কিন্তু মোটেও সহজ কিছু নয়!
জীবন আর পেশাগত জীবন নিয়ে হতাশ? নাকি, অনেক বেশি সন্তুষ্ট? যেটাই হোন না কেন, সবটা আলসেমি ছেড়ে দিয়ে নতুন করে ভাবুন, নতুন নতুন পদ্ধতিতে নিজেকে উন্নত ও দক্ষ করে তুলুন। পরবর্তী জীবনে এই উদ্যোগটির ফলাফল আপনিই পাবেন!

১। প্রযুক্তিখাতে দক্ষতা বাড়ানো
আপনি হয়তো খুব চিরাচরিত নিয়মের কথা ভেবেই নিজের কাজ খোঁজার চেষ্টা করছেন। কিন্তু বাস্তবে বর্তমানে শুধু পড়াশোনায় ভালো হলেই হয় না, একইসাথে প্রযুক্তিখাতে দক্ষ হয়ে ওঠারও প্রয়োজন থাকে। ওয়েব ডিজাইনার হিসেবে, কম্পিউটার প্রোগ্রামার বা গ্রাফিক্স ডিজাইনার হয়েও চাকুরির বাজারে অনেক বেশি সুবিধা করে নিতে পারেন আপনি। আর তাই, বসে না থেকে কর্মক্ষেত্রে প্রবেশ করার আগে এই অল্প সময়ে নিজেকে প্রযুক্তির নতুন নতুন পদ্ধতির সাথে পরিচিত করুন।

৩। ক্যারিয়ার ডেভলপিং সংক্রান্ত বই পড়া

৪। সফলদের সম্পর্কে জানা
সফল মানুষ হতে কে না চায়? তবে আজ যারা সফল, তারা হয়তো একটা সময় অনেক বেশি হতাশ এবং ব্যর্থ মানুষ ছিলেন। নিজেদের জীবনকে নিজের কাছেই বোঝা মনে হয়েছে, অথচ পরবর্তীতে উঠে দাঁড়িয়েছেন এবং সফল হয়েছেন- এমন মানুষের সংখ্যা কম নয়। ইউটিউবে সফলদের কথা শুনুন, বইয়ে সফল মানুষের জীবন সম্পর্কে পড়ুন। হতাশা যদি কিছুটা হলেও আপনাকে আঁকড়ে ধরে থাকে, তাহলে সেটা খুব সহজেই চলে যাবে।

৫। অন্যরকম কিছু ভাবা
সবসময় কেন একই পদ্ধতিতে ভাববেন? আপনি আর সবার মতো চাকুরী খুঁজছেন সেটাতে কোন সমস্যা নেই। তবে, এই মাঝের সময়টুকুতে হতাশা না বাড়িয়ে অন্যকিছু করুন। যদি একেবারে পুঁজি না থাকে তাহলে আপনার প্রতিভাগুলোকে কাজে লাগিয়ে অনলাইনে ব্যবসা করুন। কিংবা এমন কিছু ভাবুন, যেটাতে আপনি কাজ করতে পারবেন, ভাবতে পারবেন এবং একটু একটু করে নিজেকে প্রমাণ করতে পারবেন। কে জানে, হয়তো এই ছোট্ট চিন্তাটিই আপনাকে ভিড়ের মধ্য থেকে অন্য কেউ হতে সাহায্য করবে। পরবর্তীতে আপনি হয়তো আর চাকুরী খুঁজবেন না, বরং অন্যদের চাকুরী দেবেন। তবে এই সবকিছুর জন্যই প্রয়োজন নিজের মতো করে ভাবা এবং নিজেকে বিশ্বাস করা।
তাই এখন আর ঘরে বসে সময় নষ্ট করা নয়, নিজের মূল্যবান সময়কে কাজে লাগান আরো ভালোভাবে। আর সবসময়ের মতো এই কাজেও বইয়ের সাহায্য নিতেই পারেন আপনি!

ইংরেজি কোডিং-এর চাইতে সেরা
